AI training for teams, built on your team's real work.
Not a generic prompting webinar. Hands-on sessions where each team uses Claude or ChatGPT on its own tasks, taught by engineers who build AI systems for a living, delivered online or onsite.
01why now
Most companies have now given their people access to an AI assistant. Far fewer have taught them how to use it on their actual jobs. The result is predictable: a few self-taught power users, a large middle that tried it twice and went back to the old way, and leaders who cannot tell whether the licenses are paying for themselves.
Generic training does not fix this, because the hard part is not knowing what a prompt is. It is knowing which parts of a specific job an assistant handles well, how to give it the context it needs, how to check its work, and how to turn a one-off success into a repeatable workflow the whole team uses. That only comes from practicing on real work.
02what the training covers
foundations, for everyone
- What current assistants are good and bad at, and why they sometimes make things up.
- Giving context: documents, examples, and constraints, instead of one line questions.
- Checking output: when to trust it, how to verify it, and when not to use AI at all.
- Your company's data rules: what can and cannot go into which tool.
role-specific workshops
- Sales and account teams: account research, call prep, follow-ups, and proposals from your own past wins.
- Operations and finance: document review, reconciliation support, reporting, and process write-ups.
- Marketing: research, drafts in your voice, repurposing, and review checklists.
- Leadership: using AI for analysis and decisions, and how to judge where it pays back across the company.
- Engineering: coding agents and Claude Code, which goes deep enough to have its own page, AI coding orchestration.
workflow build sprints
Each team leaves with at least one repeatable workflow written down and set up: a shared project or custom assistant, the instructions, the source documents, and the check step. Where a workflow needs real engineering, such as connecting to an internal system, we scope it as a build, through Claude consulting or workflow automation.
03who this is for
Companies, typically doing $10M or more a year, that have rolled out or are about to roll out Claude, ChatGPT, or both, and want adoption beyond a handful of enthusiasts. It works for a single department or a company-wide program run team by team. Sponsors are usually a COO, head of people, or the leader of the first department in line.
Because we build AI systems for clients, including the LLM assistant inside Supreme Dental's apps, the training is grounded in what actually works in production rather than in slides.
04how it runs
- Discovery. Short interviews and a look at real tasks with each team, so the exercises are built from their work, not hypotheticals.
- Fix the budget. A fixed number for the program you choose. Change requests are priced before they start.
- Deliver. Sessions online or onsite, small enough that everyone works hands-on on their own tasks.
- Build sprints. Each team sets up its first repeatable workflows with us in the room.
- Follow up. A check-in a few weeks later on usage and results, office hours for questions, and a short report for leadership on adoption and where to go next.
online
- Live, interactive sessions, not recordings
- Works for distributed teams
- Shorter sessions spread over several weeks
onsite
- In person at your offices
- Best for a team's first full day of training
- Build sprints with everyone in the room
05common questions about AI training for teams
What is corporate AI training?
Training that teaches a company's employees to use AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT on their actual work: what the tools do well, how to give them context, how to check their output, and how to turn one-off uses into repeatable team workflows.
Do you train on Claude, ChatGPT, or both?
Both, and other tools your company has adopted. The fundamentals carry across assistants, and the exercises use whichever tool each team actually has access to.
Is the training online or in person?
Either. Online sessions are live and interactive, suited to distributed teams and spread over several weeks. Onsite sessions are delivered at your offices and work well for a team's first full day and for build sprints.
How is this different from generic AI training?
The exercises are built from each team's real tasks, gathered in discovery before the sessions. Every team leaves with at least one repeatable workflow set up, not just notes on prompting.
Can training be combined with building AI tools?
Yes. When a workflow needs real engineering, such as a connection to an internal system or an automation, we scope it as a build. Insomnia Club is a software firm first, so training and building come from the same team.
How much does corporate AI training cost?
A fixed number agreed before work starts, based on the number of teams, sessions, and format. Change requests are priced before they are started, never after.
Who runs the training?
The engineers and operators who build AI systems for our clients, led by founder and CEO Eli Skenandore, so the material reflects what works in production.
